If you are pregnant, Dr Baillie will utilise safe and gentle techniques that are suitable to use during pregnancy. You may also be offered advice with regards to nutrition, posture and exercise. In 2019 Dr Baillie spent some time studying with Dr Elisabeth Davidson who has an MSc in Advanced Chiropractic Paediatric Practice. Dr Davidson is one of the directors of the Faculty of Pregnancy and Paediatrics at the Royal College of Chiropractors. She offers post-graduate seminars on Pregnancy and Paediatrics all over the UK and Europe and is top in her field. From attending her seminars, Dr Baillie learned various techniques to help pregnant women who suffer with back pain due to the extra weight being carried. As you go through your pregnancy, the pelvis begins to widen due to the hormone Relaxin, which is a normal process. However, pregnancy can lead to extra stress around the lower back and pelvic region and it’s important at this time to ensure that the muscles and ligaments of the pelvis are massaged to relieve the tension.
Our chiropractors put your specific needs first. We are proud to provide a high quality level of customer service and chiropractic experience.
